I moved to my new home in the beginning of the March but haven't done much decorating yet. I got a few ideas and I finished one yesterday. I had this old stool that was matching with my old beige couch. I haven't had that couch in years so it was time to update the stool to fit my new decor. I found the perfect fabrics on Saturday and started cutting and sewing.
The new slipcover goes well with my new couch too. I still have some of that patterned fabric left so I will sew a pillow too as soon as I have time.

Well done, Sari!
That's lovely fabric! It looks brand new and looks great with the couch too, well done :-)
You did a great job on it.
You’ve done a magnificent job in renovating your stool. It does look better in black, and the white lining design is quite stylish. Anyway, congratulations on your new home! I’m sure it’d look great with your decors and stuff. ;)
What a transformation! You’re so creative, Sari! I love the new patterns on your stool. Isn’t it a great feeling to decorate your new home? I can’t wait to see your next project. Keep up the good work!
I like what you did to the old stool! The new look definitely looks better. It blends pretty well with the overall look of the room. It looks very elegant, and the patterns are quite eye-catching themselves. Keep your creative juices flowing!
The color black is indeed elegant. Your DIY black-patterned stool provides a sophisticated look in your living room. What else would you like to decorate with that fabric, Sari?
