WIP QS White Rose Fae - 29th of June

Here is another picture of the Fae. A week has gone by again and I did get quite a lot of the details done especially on the wings. The top part of the wings is all done, well there is about ten stitches to stitch but mostly done at least. She looks a bit creepy with those partly stitched jaw and lips so I just have to go back to stitch it right away. :)



Oh, by the way, I found the chair but it's not in it's place yet so the pic comes later. :)

Searching for a good stitching chair

I am going in the furniture stores today to find a good stitching chair for my self. At the moment I stitch on the sofa and it's not really ergonomic and my shoulders are killing me. So wish me luck! I'll post a pic as soon as I find a good one. I have to re-arrange our living room to fit it in but it's so worth it in the end.

I bought some threads via my Floss Fairy Erin. Thank you again! I sorted the threads today so didn't get so much stitching done. I actually sorted all my threads since they were in several binders, some here and some there. Now they are all sorted by the number and binders are marked so I know exactly where the thread number I'm looking for is. Nice. :)

I bought this Mighty Bright Craft Light some time ago and it is really good. You can clip it to the q-snaps and point the light just where you need it.

A bag fob for my mum

I stitched a bag fob for my mum's birthday gift and forgot to take a photo of it. Luckily my mum has a camera on her mobile phone so she managed to take a pic for me. :)

The fob is stitched on Zweigart 40ct Newcastle Linen (cream) with DMC thread 3364. I stitched it 1 over 2. The free pattern is the same as on my scissor fob that I stitched for myself on May and it can be found from My Aunt's Attic. This time I even thought a little about to which corner I should attach the string since last time I just attached it and noticed afterwards that it was in the wrong corner. :D

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 23rd of June

I took this photo on 23rd of June. A Fairy Day SAL started on HAED BB yesterday so I needed to take a "before pic" and only now remembered to post it here. :) I have been stitching the details on the wings (a lot of confetti!) and the eyes. I am a bit behind schedule but I hope I get an extra stitching boost from the SAL and catch up.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 15th of June

Here is a new pic of my QS White Rose Fae on 15th of June. I stitched some of the face but I haven't got all the colours for it yet so I continued stitching the sparkly bits.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 10th of June

Here is picture of the QS White Rose Fae at 10th of June. I have stitched this more since but haven't taken any pics yet. I had the backround removed so there is about 5000 stitches less and maybe a better chance to meet the deadline. I'll post a new pic at the weekend. I ran out of the PB10 but luckily my order came quickly and I can continue stitching the sparkly bits.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 2nd of June

I started to stitch this on 29th of May. I use 25ct Blush Lugana and stitch with DMC and Petite Braid PB10 for the sparkles (and there is A LOT of spakle in this chart! :D) . At the moment I have stitched about 6% of the pic.
