WIP QS Day Dreaming Fairy - 13th of April 09

I continued stitching QS Day Dreaming Fairy, my SAL piece for HAED's 2009 SAL. I got about 1300 stitches done during Sunday and Monday and I am quite pleased. :)

WIP QS Day Dreaming Fairy - 12th of January 09

A started a new HAED chart called QS Day Dreaming Fairy. It's one of the four SAL pieces on the HAED BB for the 2009 SAL. You can choose one of the four, get it free and get one page every two months. If you post wip pictures to the BB and finish your piece during the year 2009 you get the other three charts for free too! :) You still have time to take part, the SAL sign-in closes on 16th of January. This is the original art piece by Zindy Nielsen for the QS Day Dreaming Fairy.I am stitching this 1 over 1 on 28ct Brittney Evenweave. There is Kreinik 032 on the chart, I use Petite Treasure Braid 10 instead. I have stitched about 1600 of the 33635 stitches. I had a bad migraine weekend so I didn't get as much done as I hoped. Here is my progress so far.

WIP Storykeeper SK - 5th of January 09

I started to stitch this again after eight months as I took part in the swip/ufo SAL at the HAED BB. I am stitching this on Lugana 25ct (colour blush) and I use Petite Treasure Braid 23 for the sparkly bits. I have now stitched about one page, pages are in large format.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 26th of October

I totally lost my mojo to stitch the Fae after I had been stitching her all summer. Now I got it back and here is how she looks like today. She still on the Q-snaps and you can see the floor stand clamp in the photo. I didn't even remember to post about the floor stand when it arrived. It's really been helpful and my shoulders are not so stiff as I don't have to hold the frame. I bought the Posilock Floor Stand and the Helping Hand for use with the rotating frame. I hope I'll finish this one soon. :)

I had to give up on getting this ready for the 8th of August since there is too much left. But here is the picture of the Fae from yesterday.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 30th July

I've been stitching like crazy and I think I might be able to meet the deadline after all. :) Well the weekend is again important time, I should stitch a lot then. I have stitched all the sparkly parts. I ordered the mounts for framing, I'll pick them up next week. I chose an oldish pink and white. It's going to look great when framed... at least I hope so. :) Here is a new pic of the Fae.

Here is the newest picture of the Fae. I have fallen behind the schedule but I hope I'll catch up this weekend. Wish me luck!

WIP White Rose Fae - 15th of July

I took a picture of the Fae today. I started to stitch the roses and leaves and stitch the confetti in her hair in between since stitching just the confetti is not really so much fun. It feels like there is no progress even though there is. I didn't get much done since I was away for the weekend. I hope I catch up this week. Well anyway, here's the pic :)

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 6th of July

Now she has a face! Only a couple more stitches to her eyes and stitching the confetti in her hair and her head will be stitched. After that I start stitching the roses. I actually started to stitch one rose already, it's stitched with winter white thread so it doesn't show so well in the picture.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 29th of June

Here is another picture of the Fae. A week has gone by again and I did get quite a lot of the details done especially on the wings. The top part of the wings is all done, well there is about ten stitches to stitch but mostly done at least. She looks a bit creepy with those partly stitched jaw and lips so I just have to go back to stitch it right away. :)



Oh, by the way, I found the chair but it's not in it's place yet so the pic comes later. :)

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 23rd of June

I took this photo on 23rd of June. A Fairy Day SAL started on HAED BB yesterday so I needed to take a "before pic" and only now remembered to post it here. :) I have been stitching the details on the wings (a lot of confetti!) and the eyes. I am a bit behind schedule but I hope I get an extra stitching boost from the SAL and catch up.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 15th of June

Here is a new pic of my QS White Rose Fae on 15th of June. I stitched some of the face but I haven't got all the colours for it yet so I continued stitching the sparkly bits.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 10th of June

Here is picture of the QS White Rose Fae at 10th of June. I have stitched this more since but haven't taken any pics yet. I had the backround removed so there is about 5000 stitches less and maybe a better chance to meet the deadline. I'll post a new pic at the weekend. I ran out of the PB10 but luckily my order came quickly and I can continue stitching the sparkly bits.

WIP QS White Rose Fae - 2nd of June

I started to stitch this on 29th of May. I use 25ct Blush Lugana and stitch with DMC and Petite Braid PB10 for the sparkles (and there is A LOT of spakle in this chart! :D) . At the moment I have stitched about 6% of the pic.

WIP Lickle Ted & Flower - 18th of May

Lickle Ted's head is ready. He has cute little button eyes. :) I was on a business trip so haven't stitched anything in few days. I hope I get this finished soon.

WIP Heart of the World 12th of May

Here is a newest pic of Heart of the World. I haven't been stitching this in a month and this much I got done during the weekend.

WIP Lickle Ted & Flower - 12th of May

I have been stitching this and Heart of the World during last weekend. It is weird stitching 2 over 2 after stitching those teeny tiny HAED stitches. :) This is stitched on 32ct evenweave with DMC.

WIP Storykeeper SK - 27th of April

I have stitched this every now and then in the past week. Mainly after work if I had time. Here is a new pic. You can see her face starting to appear. I did some stitches with Kreinik #4 but it was pure torture so I frogged the stitches. Stitches become too bulky with the Kreinik thread so I ordered some petite treasure braid and will try that.

WIP Storykeeper SK - 20th of April

I started another Heaven and Earth design on 18th of April. It's Selina Fenech's Storykeeper storykeep (a bookmark). I am stitching it on 25ct Lugana fabric, colour Blush, 1 over 1 with DMC and Kreinik threads. The size of the design is 51x258 stitches which is about 5,2x26,5cm on the fabric.

Here is a pic on 20th of April 2008, 1003 stitches done.

WIP Heart of the World - 14th of April

I took part in HAED's Stitch-A-Long and started the Heart of the World. At first I felt like how in the world I will manage to do such a small stitches but after a while it started going better. The size of the work is 450x276 stitches and about 43x26cm so one stitch is quite small. :) I am stitching this on DMC's 28ct white evenweave, 1 over 1 with DMC threads. It's nice to see some shape to appear. I started from the top left corner so I am stitching the foliage of the tree.
